Air Canada carry on luggage dimensions are as follows. Each passenger is allowed one standard article measuring 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm (9 in x 15.5 in x 21.5 in) maximum size, handles and wheels included. The maximum allowable weight is 10 kg (22 lb). They can also bring one personal article with a maximum size of 16 cm x 33 cm x 43 cm (6 in x 13 in x 17 in). The maximum allowable weight is 10 (22 lbs).

If you are carrying a baby, you may bring another standard article for their belongings. Some of the personal or standard articles that may be carried are duty-free or airport shopping purchases, pets in their carriers or a carry-on bag. Other Allowed Items

Along with the carry-on, passengers are allowed to carry other small items. Among them are mp3 players, cell phones and other small electronic gadgets. If you bought a seat for an infant/child, you can bring a child restraint.

You can also take a collapsed stroller that does not exceed 25.5 cm (10 in) x 92 cm (36 in). This is by diameter x length. Air Canada carry on luggage dimensions allow passengers to carry a purse no bigger than 25cm x 30cm x 14cm (10in x 12in x 5.5 in). Anything bigger than this will be considered your carry-on. Passengers may also bring a coat.

The following items are always allowed along with the standard carry-on items: syringes for medical application, cremated remains and personal oxygen concentrators. Sleep apnea devices, CPAP and other medical equipment running on batteries are allowed. Note: cremated remains will be allowed if it is kept in a secure container and there is a death certificate or cremation certification.

Among them are game darts more than 6 cm (2.4 in), crossbows and arrows, fishing hooks/lures, tackle boxes and all tools with a shaft and head larger than 6 cm (2.4 in). Also included are drills, saws, chef’s knives, jackknives and hunting knives.

All knives regardless of length are prohibited. Hatchets and box cutters are not allowed. Blades more than 6 cm (2.4 in) are prohibited. Straight razors are not allowed either.
