The hiking boot size is extremely important for any would be hiker. Make sure you pick the right boots so you can hike without experiencing any pain.

US Men’s Sizes

The sizes are 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7 and 7.5. The next one is 8 followed by 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11 and 11.5. The biggest are 12, 12.5 13, 13.5 and 14.

US Women’s Sizes

The smallest is size 2 followed by 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6 and 6.5. The other sizes are 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5 and 12. The largest are 12.5, 13 and 13.5

The European Hiking Boot Sizes

The following are the European sizes and their equivalents for US men and women. The smallest is size 32, equal to men’s size 1 and women’s size 2. European size 33 is equal to 3 and 2. Size 33.5 is equal to men’s 2.5, women’s 3.5; size 34 (men’s 3, women’s 4); 34.5 (men’s 3, women’s 4); 35 (men’s 3.5 and women’s 4.5).

Size 35.5 is equal to men’s size 4 and women’s size 5. Size 37 is equal to US men’s size 5 and women’s size 6. Size 38 is equal to men’s size 6 and women’s size 7.

Size 39 is equal men’s size 7 and women’s size 8; size 40.5 (men’s size 8 and women’s size 9); size 42 is equal to men’s size 9 and women’s size 10.

For size 43 (men’s size 10, women’s size 11); for hiking boot size 44.5 it is men’s 11 and women’s 12; European size 45.5 is the same as men’s size 12 and women’s size 13, while size 47 is equal to men’s size 13. Size 48 is the same as men’s size 14.

United Kingdom Sizes

The smallest is size 13 (men’s 1, women’s 2). This is followed by size 1 (men’s 2, women’s 3); size 2 (men’s 3, women’s 4) and size 3 (men’s size 4, women’s size 5). Size 4 is equal to men’s boot size 5 and women’s size 6; UK size 5 is the same as men’s size 6 and women’s size 7.

The other sizes are the following. Hiking boot size 5.5 (6.5 US men’s, 7.5 US women’s), size 6 (men’s 7, women’s 8); size 7 (men’s 8, women’s 9); size 8 (men’s 9, women’s 10) and size 9 (men’s 10 and women’s 11).

Size 10 is equal to men’s 11 and women’s 12. Size 11 is the same as men’s size 12 and women’s size 13. Size 11.5 is equal to 12.5 for men’s and 13.5 for women’s. The biggest sizes are 12.5 (men’s 13.5) and 13 (men’s 14).
