The following specifications are for M. K. Martin’s Meteor Series of snow blowers. There are obviously other types of snow blowers but this can serve as a reference for size comparison with other units.

Snow Blower Dimensions: the M.K. Martin SB46

The SB46’s weight is 286 lbs. The cutting edge is ¼ x1½ and the cutting width is 46”. The tube size is 1 ¾” OD and the auger diameter is 10”. The recommended HP is 12 and the roller chain drive is # 50.

The clutch rotation is manual or hydraulic, with the clute diameter outlet at 5 ½”. The main body height is 20” and the fan diameter is 4”. The auger drive shaft size is 1” and the fan output shaft size is 1”. The clute deflector is manual adj.

Snow Blower Dimensions: the M.K. Martin SB51

The M.K. Martin SB51 has a cutting edge of 3/8 x 1½ and a cutting width of 51”. The tube size is 2 3/8 “ OD and the flighting size is 3/16 x 2 ¼. The angle diameter is 14”, with the recommend HP being 15. The roller chain drive is # 50 and the clute rotation is hydraulic or manual (optional).

The chain diameter outlet is 8”. The height of the main body is 25” and the chain deflector is manual adj. The fan depth is 6” and the fan diameter is 21”. The fan output shaft size is 1” and the auger drive shaft size is 1”. Its weight is 366 lbs.

Snow Blower Dimensions: the M.K. Martin SB60

The cutting edge of the M.K. Martin SB60 is 3/8 x 1 and the cutting width is 60”. The tube size is 3 ½ “ OD while the flighting size is ¼ x 2 ¼. The auger diameter is 14” and the recommended HP is 20. The roller chain drive is # 50 and the clute diameter outlet is 8”.

The clute rotation is either manual or hydraulic (optional). The body height is 25”. The clute deflector is manual adj. The fan diameter is 21” and the fan depth is 6”. The auger drive shaft size is 1” and the fan output shaft size is 1”. The weight is 396 lbs.

Snow Blower Dimensions: the M.K. Martin SB68

The M.K. Martin SB68 cutting width is 68” and the cutting edge is 3/8 x 1. The weight is 506 lbs and the main body height is 29”. The fan output shaft size is 1¼” and the auger drive shaft size is 1¼”. The fan depth is 7” and the fan diameter is 21”.

The clute deflector is manual adj. or hydraulic. The clute diameter outlet of the SB68 is 10”. The clute rotation is manual or hydraulic. The roller chain drive is # 60 heavy and the auger diameter is 14”. The flighting size is 3/16 x 2 ¼ and the tube size is 2 3/8 “ OD.
