Harley Davidson tire sizes differ by year and model. Below are sizes for some popular Harley Davidson bikes.

Harley Motorcycle Models and Tires

The XL883R Sportster front tire specs are 100/90-21 and for the rear tire it is 130/90-B16. For the FLHS Electra Glide (1994), the front tire is MT90B16 and the rear tire MT90B16. For the Fat Boy (1990-94), the tire size for the front is MT90B16. The rear tire size is MT90B16.

The Dyna Glide (1992) front tires measure 100/90-19 and the rear 130/90-B16. The FLHR Roadking front tires measure MT90B16. The rear tire size is MT90B16. The V-Rod (2001) front size is 120/70-ZR19 and the rear tire 180/55-ZR18.

Harley Davidson Tire Sizes by Dunlop (Front)

The D407 Dunlop tires are for the 2009 FL touring models. The 130/90B16 recommended rim is 3.00. The overall diameter is 25.27 with a width of 5.23. The 130/80B17 (BW) recommended rim is 3.00. The diameter is 25.20 and the width is 5.08.

The 130/80B17 (NWB) recommended rim is 3.00; the overall diameter is 25.20 and the width is 5.16. The 140/75R17’s recommended rim is 3.50; the diameter is 25.27 and the width is 5.76.

The recommended rim for the 130/70B18 is 3.50. The diameter is 25.32 and the width is 4.91. For the MH90-21, the recommended rim is 1.85. The diameter is 27.14 and the width is 3.39.

Harley Davidson Tire Sizes by Dunlop (Rear)

The 180/65B16 (BW) recommended rim is 5.00. The overall diameter is 25.33 and the width is 7.19. The recommended rim for the 180/65B16 (NWB) is 5.00. The diameter is 25.31 and the width is 7.05. The 180/65B16 (WWW) recommended rim is 5.00; the overall diameter is 25.22 and the width is 7.09.

The recommended rim for the 170/60R17 is 4.50. The diameter is 25.48 and the width 6.67. For the 200/55R17 the rim is 6.00-6.25 and the diameter is 26.07. The width is 7.97. The 240/40R18’s rim is 8.00-8.50 and the diameter is 25.86. The width is 9.35.

Harley Davidson Tire Sizes (D42)

The MT90B16 (SW) front tire’s applicable rim is 3.00 with a diameter of 25.30 and width of 5.20. The MT90B16 (SW) front tire recommended rim is 3.00. The diameter is 25 and the width 5.20. The MT90B16 (BW) rear recommended rim is 3.00; the diameter is 25.70 and the width is 5.20.

The specs for the MT90B16 (SW) are: recommended rim is 3.00, diameter 25.70 and width 5.20. The specs for the MT90B16 rear tires are the same. The 130/70-18 front tire specs are 3.00 for recommended rim, 25.27 for the diameter and 5.18 for the width.

For the MU85B16 rear tire it is 3.00 for the rim, 25.71 for the diameter and 5.51 for the width. The MH90-21 front tire’s recommended rim is 2.15. The overall diameter is 27.20 and the width is 3.25.

The Harley Davidson tire sizes may vary with respect to the newer models coming out. Problems can be avoided by checking your motorcycle model and making inquiries with the dealer or tire supplier.
