How to Select the Right Aerial Work Platform

The aerial work platform size aside, other factors have to be looked into before you buy the equipment. These include answering questions like what jobs you will do, how many people will be on the lift, how high the platform must be and if the lift will be mobile or stationary.

Before you buy the equipment, you should get a free onsite demo. The people who will use the platform must also see the device for themselves. During the demo, make sure the platform is tested thoroughly. Have it go through the difficult areas you need access to.

Even if the aerial work platform size is right, you must not forget to assess the safety features. The platform must also be assessed for durability, quality finish and all your company’s other requirements.
