The NXT measures 4.6 x 15 x 15.1 inches and weighs 4.6 lbs. The product comes with a 32 bit microprocessor as well as three servo motors. These motors have rotation sensors included to manage the speed. There are also several sound patterns included.

There is also a color sensor, 7 x 6 wire cables, a USB cable and the user guide for building and programming the robot. The software, 619 LEGO parts and a test pad are included too.

To make programming easier, Mindstorms uses a drag and drop interface. This will allow you to create a robot in half an hour. A 32-bit microprocessor and 3 output ports are part of the package.

Lego Mindstorms Dimensions: Invention System 2.0

The invention System 2.0 is made for people 12 years old and up. The Invention System 2.0 gives you the chance to build your robot, design them and add programming instructions quickly. The building guide is in 3D.

The CDROM provides instructions for building the robotic arm, candy sorter and the Artbot. The Artbot is capable of drawing pictures. Big Blocks programming and the Pro Challenges help you program more complex instructions. The sensors, gears and other components needed to make your own robot are all in the box.

Lego Mindstorms Dimensions: Limited Edition Black NXT

The Limited Edition Black NXT measures 5.7 x 2.4 x 3.8 inches. There are four input ports and 3 output ports. USB 2, Bluetooth and dot matrix display are included.

The Black NXT comes with a 32-bit microprocessor. This micro controller gives you access to the wallpapers and guides on how to make various models. This is ideal for those who have the RIS 2.0. Furthermore, the interface permits for development of third party apps, allowing you to make different kinds of robots with ease.
