Sizes of Car Wiper Blades

Car wiper blade sizes are not standardized. Even if the make is the same, the size can vary per model. This is due to the changes made to the cars by the manufacturers.

For the Escape 2004-2007, the size is 20” for the driver and 18” for the passenger. The same sizes are used in the 2002 Escort. For the 2006 Ford Excursion, the driver and passenger blade is 20”. The rear blade measures 16”. The same sizes are used in the 1999-2009 F Series Pickup.

For the 2004-2007 Freestar, the driver and passenger blades measure 24” and 20” respectively. For the 2005-2009 Mustang, it is 22” for the driver and 20” for the passenger.

The 1982-2008 Ranger uses 18” blades for the driver and 18” for the passenger. The car wiper blade size for the 1996-2007 Ford Taurus is 24” for the driver and 20” for the passenger. The 1995-2003 Windstar uses 24” blades for the driver and 20” for the passenger.

For the Cirrus 1995-2000, it is 22” for the driver and passenger. For the Concorde 1997-2004, the blade being used are 24”and 22” for the driver and passenger. The Concorde 1995-1996 uses 24” for both the driver and passenger. The Imperial 1990-1993 uses an 18” blade for the passenger and driver side.

The Chrysler Intrepid 1993-2004 uses 24” blade for the driver and 22” for the passenger. The PT Cruiser 2009 uses 20” for the driver, 21” for the passenger and 16” for the rear. The Sebring 2007-2009 uses a 24” blade for the driver and 22” for the passenger.

The Town & Country 2008-2009 employs 26” blades for passenger and driver. For the rear it is 16”. The Voyager 2001-2003 uses 26” for the passenger and the driver. For the rear, 16” is used.

Picking the Right Size

If you have to replace the blades, check the car owner manual. The size will be specified there. If you have lost the manual, remove the blades from the car. Take these with you to the car store. If the wiper is missing, talk to the car dealer. You can also go online and look up your car make and model.

The car wiper blade sizes used in the US is 20 to 22 inches. However, this is not always the case. Even if your automobile is old, chances are you can still find it in a store.
