Getting the correct wedding ring can be a bit hard as measurements differ. The following is a guide on the measurements used in the US and other countries.

Wedding Ring Sizes in the United States

Size 0000 has a diameter of .390 inches or 9.91 mm. Size 00 is equal to .422 in or 10.72. Size 0 has a diameter of .454 in (11.53 mm). The other ring sizes are: 1/2 474 in (11.95 mm); 3/4 (482 in; .482 mm); 1 (.487 in, 12.37 mm); 1 1/4 (12.60 mm); 1 3/4 (13.00 mm) and 2 (.520 in, 13.21 mm).

Size 2 1/2 is equal to .536 in (13.61 mm); 3 (.553 in, 14.05 mm) 4 (.585 in, 14.86 mm); 5 (.618 in, 15.70 mm) and 6 (.650 in, 16.51 mm).

Wedding Ring Sizes in the United Kingdom

Size A is .474 in (11.95 mm), while size B is .487 in (12.37 mm). Size C is equal to .503 in (12.78 mm). The other sizes are D (.520 in, 13.21 mm); E (.536 in, 13.61 mm); F (.553 in, 14.05 mm); G (14.36 mm) and H (14.65 mm).

When selecting a wedding ring size, it’s important you pick what is comfortable for your finger, and not just base the choice on its looks. American women’s average size is 6 and for men it is 10, but your finger may not necessarily fall in that range.
