Short Course Pool

The term short course pool refers to a competition type pool that has a shorter overall length as compared to a standard size Olympic swimming pool. It is specifically used for swimming so it isn’t as deep as pools used for diving events. There are international short course competitions in all four strokes with competitors hailing from different parts of the world.
