Dimensions Guide

Boxes made from paperboard are sometimes called cardboard boxes too. Their sizes are measured by L x W x D.

Box Paperboard Dimensions: Multi-Depth Boxes

Common sizes are 8 x 8 x 8", 10 x 10 x 10", 10 x 10 x 12", 12 x 6 x 6", 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 6" and 13 x 13 x 13". There are also 14 x 10 x 10", 14 x 14 x 14", 16 x 16 x 6", 20 x 12 x 12" and 22 x 22 x 22" boxes.

Some are also available in the following dimensions: 24 x 16 x 12", 24 x 18 x 12", 24 x 18 x 18", 24 x 24 x 12", 26 x 18 x 16", 26 x 20 x 12", 26 x 26 x 26" and 28 x 20 x 24". There are also boxes measuring 29 x 17 x 9", 30 x 24 x 12" and 36 x 36 x 36".

Box Paperboard Dimensions: Flat Boxes

The flat box sizes vary. Common box sizes are 8 x 6 x 3", 10 x 6 x 3", 8 x 8 x 3", 9 x 6 x 3", 9 x 9 x 4", 10 x 6 x 3", 12 x 10 x 3", 14 x 12 x 4", 18 x 10 x 4" and 20 x 16 x 6".

There are also 22 x 22 x 4", 24 x 14 x 4", 28 x 16 x 7", 29 x 17 x 3" and 30 x 20 x 6" boxes. There are also 30 x 30 x 8", 34 x 21 x 6", 36 x 12 x 4", 36 x 12 x 6", 36 x 24 x 4" and 36 x 24 x 6" boxes.

Box Paperboard Dimensions: White Corrugated

Some boxes measure 4 x 4 x 4", 5 x 5 x 5", 6 x 6 x 6", 8 x 8 x 8", 10 x 10 x 10" and 2 x 9 x 4". There are also 12 x 12 x 8", 14 x 14 x 14", 15 x 12 x 10" and 16 x 16 x 16" dimensions. Other box sizes are 18 x 12 x 12", 18 x 18 x 18", 20 x 20 x 20", 24 x 12 x 12" and 24 x 24 x 24".

Box Paperboard Dimensions: Garment Boxes

Garment boxes are available in a variety of sizes. These include 26 x 20 x 4", 26 x 20 x 6", 26 x 20 x 12", 26 x 20 x 16" and 29 x 17 x 3". There are also boxes measuring 29 x 17 x 5", 29 x 17 x 7", 29 x 17 x 9" and 29 x 17 x 12".

Some manufacturers also make boxes measuring 29 x 17 x 15", 29 x 17 x 20", 36 x 20 x 12 and 36 x 20 x 15”.

There are also other box paperboard dimensions currently available. Some manufacturers even make custom boxes to ship specific materials and objects.
